This policy only covers PC hardware and not Internet Programs/Services

30-day Limited Money Back Guarantee on PWP Tech’s Products

PWP Technologies, Inc hardware products come with the option for a 90-day, 1-year, 2-year, or 3-year limited product warranty, except as follows:

  • Portable computer batteries and AC adapters carry the lesser of either a 1-year limited warranty or the length of the limited warranty for the computer with which the battery of AC adapter, as applicable, is shipped.
  • Case side panels (clear side panels), are warranted for 1 year.
  • Light Kits carry no warranty. Consumers may order a replacement light kit at a reduced priced for the term of the computer warranty.
  • Computer peripheral items such as mice, keyboards, thumb drives and speakers carry a 1-year limited warranty.
  • Other items such networking equipment carry 90-day limited warranty.
  • Additional warranties may be available from the original manufacturer of the product, but PWP Tech does not provide any guarantees on the manufacturer’s warranty.

To determine which warranty you purchased, please review your packing slip or invoice. The following sections detail the terms of the PWP Tech’s Limited Product Warranty and Return Policy for the United States.

Scope of the PWP Tech’s Limited Product Warranty

PWP Tech warrants to the original purchaser that any PWP Tech branded hardware will be free of defects in workmanship and materials for the applicable limited warranty period set forth in your packing slip or invoice, which is measured from the date of shipment. Importantly, this limited product warranty does not cover:

  • Third party hardware products and accessories. Example: monitors, speakers, etc.
  • Software, including the operating system and well as any third party software;
  • Product that has been damaged by actions that are beyond PWP Tech’s control, including for example, impacts (shipping is covered via insurance from UPS or FedEx), fluids (This included liquid cooling systems), fire, overheating from placement location (example: flood, wind, earthquake, lightning or similar disaster, war, strike, lockout, epidemic, pandemic, destruction of production facilities, riot, insurrection or material unavailability;
  • Product that has been damaged through misuse, abuse or mishandling, including without limitation the unauthorized modification of the system as a whole or any individual component, and/or the attachment of peripheral devices (one that causes damage);
    (you can add a component to your system, but if it damages the system, as determined by PWP Tech, we will not be responsible and it can void your warranty)
  • Paint finishes of the cases

During your applicable limited product warranty period, if a covered product is proven to be defective in workmanship or materials, PWP Tech will, at its option:

    • Replace or repair the defective component
    • Replace the product with a comparable product

Replacement parts will be new or serviceably used, comparable in function and performance to the original part or product, and warranted for the longer of thirty days (30) or the remainder of the warranty period. Replacement products may be refurbished, and are warranted for the longer of thirty days or the remainder of the applicable limited warranty period. Any additional purchases or upgrades will not extend this limited product warranty.

If we determine that the problem with the product is not covered by the limited product warranty, we will inform you of alternative solutions that may be available to you for an additional fee.

 

This warranty agreement gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state (or jurisdiction to jurisdiction). PWP Tech’s responsibility for defects in PWP Tech supplied hardware is limited to repair or replacement as set forth in the PWP Tech limited product warranty. All express and implied warranties for the product, including but not limited to any implied warranties and conditions of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in time to the term of the limited warranty period reflected on your packing slip or invoice. No warranties, whether express or implied, will apply after the limited warranty period has expired.

Moreover, PWP Tech’s and your maximum liability to the other is limited to the purchase price you paid for products or services plus interest as allowed under the applicable law. Neither you nor PWP Tech will be liable to the other for property damage, personal injury, loss of use, interruption of business, “down time”, purchaser’s time, loss of use of related equipment, lost profits, lost data or other consequential, incidental, punitive or special damages, however caused, whether for breach of warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), absolute or strict liability or otherwise, other than those damages that are incapable of limitation, exclusion or restriction under the applicable law.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

 

What will PWP Tech do under Limited Product Warranty?

PWP Tech will first try to diagnose a problem over the phone or the Internet. If PWP Tech cannot resolve the problem PWP Tech will do one of the following (based on warranty provided):

  • Have the customer ship the product back to us. PWP Tech will pay all shipping charges within the continental United States. Order outside the continental United States will be required to pay for shipping the product to us. PWP Tech will ship the product back, paying up to $50 for shipping charges.
  • PWP Tech will provide onsite service. We will contract the repair service to a third party at our option. The repairer will only replace the hardware. If a reinstall of the operating system is needed, the end user will be responsible for providing this service. PWP Tech can provide software assistance for an additional fee, not covered by this warranty. Some issues cannot be solved onsite and will require the shipping of the product to PWP Tech. PWP Tech will pay for shipping (both ways) within the continental United States.
  • PWP Tech will ship the component to the end user for replacement. A valid credit card will be required for a product to be shipped without first receiving the defective product. PWP Tech will not charge the credit card unless the defective product is not returned to us within fifteen (15) days. This option will not void any additional warranty as long as the installation of the new component is done as directed.

 

Before having your computer serviced, be sure to backup all your important data.
PWP Tech is not responsible for the lost of information/data!

 

How to Obtain Service:

Please contact PWP Tech at support@pwptech.com. Additional contact information will be provided on the invoice/packing slip.

 

When contacting PWP Tech, please include the following items:

Your name, your address, daytime telephone, evening telephone, date system was purchased (if known), email address, serial number of system (usually on the bottom of the case) and a short description of your problem. PWP Tech will call you to determine a solution to your product.

 

30 Day Return Policy:

PWP Tech produces high quality products. We stand behind our systems with a 30 day return policy. To return an item you must first contact us at support@pwptech.com. Items without pre-authorization will not be accepted for return and will be returned to the sender.

 

To return a product to us, your item will be subject to the following conditions:

  • Item must be returned in the box(es) it was shipped in. If the system is not returned in the identical box(es) they were shipped in a 25% restocking fee will apply.
  • Open products are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
  • All supplied software, hardware, and other components shipped with your system must be returned. Failure to return any of these items will result in a reduced refund, solely determined by PWP Tech. PWP Tech will contact the end user to verify the items were not returned and explain the reduction in refund.
  • Damaged products will not be accepted for returned.
  • Unopened products will be refunded at the full purchase price, minus any shipping charges.
  • Items must be shipped, at consumer’s expense, to PWP Tech. Insurance on the product is required. PWP Tech is not responsible for damage from shipping. Any damage claims must be filed with the carrier.
  • All shipping charges are non-refundable.

 

International Orders:

Duties and custom fees are not included in any pricing for shipping. The customer will be responsible for the payment of any fees, duties, custom charges resulting from service and the original shipment.
